What should a service landing page include?

Organise clear answers, relevant work and consultation options so a service page supports reading and decision-making.

What should a service landing page include?

People visiting a service page usually have three questions: what do you do, does it fit their need and what is the next step? If answers are hidden under long copy or heavy effects, attractive design is not enough. Build the page around that decision path.

Begin with a clear, verifiable offer

The title should name the service and its use. A short introduction should explain the output and the problem it addresses. Avoid vague promises or unsupported guarantees. If a short introduction video opens the page, the main message must still make sense without sound.

For a hypothetical product-imagery service, “Product images for websites and campaigns” tells readers more than “the world's best creative experience”. You can then explain formats, coordination and a proposed scope without declaring a final price before reviewing the project.

Place work examples beside useful context

Work samples should relate to that service. A short explanation of the problem and the team's role is more helpful than an image alone. For product photography and illustration, identifying the output type helps visitors compare it with their needs.

Use real links with clear wording for related educational material. Google's link guidance recommends crawlable links and meaningful anchor text. Readers should know where a link leads; repeated generic phrases do not create useful connections.

Explain collaboration briefly and precisely

  • Receive the description and reference files.
  • Review the scope and prepare a proposal.
  • Approve the direction and begin production.
  • Review within the agreement and deliver files.

When information is insufficient for an order, consultation is a sensible next step. Make a project-brief guide available so visitors know what to prepare. Several similar buttons with unclear destinations make the path harder to follow.

Check the actual mobile experience

Review large images, unexpected layout movement and hard-to-reach buttons. Core Web Vitals concern experiences such as main-content display, responsiveness and visual stability; a laboratory score does not replace checking real use. For the page's content strategy, SEO and AI search also rests on basic principles and useful information.

For a Visionairt website consultation, service information, genuine work samples and visual identity rules provide a starting point. Send the required page list and the site's main goal so its structure follows the business's needs.
